About Hound&Co

Hound&Co is a luxury dog grooming boutique located on Grove Road in Norwich. We are passionate about creating pet trims of the highest standard, using only the best natural and cruelty free products on the market.

At Hound&Co, we will not rush your dog to be completed within a certain time frame and we will always do our best to ensure your dog is as comfortable as possible during their visit. All dogs in our care are given regular breaks during the grooming process, to ensure stress levels are kept at a minimum.

During their break time, we are able to offer various enrichment exercises to your dog such as frozen lick matts, frozen stuffed kongs or natural chews, which aid in reducing stress levels and creating a positive experience.

Alternatively, we have quiet, comfortable spaces if your dog prefers to have a quick nap!

Meet The Team

Sophia - Owner and Stylist

Our founder Sophia has been an animal lover her entire life and grew up surrounded by dogs, horses, chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits. In 2017, after a year of working full time with horses, she completed the Level 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming qualification at one of the leading training centres in East Anglia and her passion for dog grooming began.

Sophia is a perfectionist and has an exceptional eye for detail. She has spent years perfecting her signature 'Teddy Bear' cut, which is a common request from many clients. Sophia is also a large dog lover, and will never shy away from the big breeds.

You will never find Sophia cutting corners during the prep or styling and she is constantly looking to improve her skills and expand her knowledge.

in 2023, Sophia is hoping to complete her International Certified Master Groomer Qualification (ICMG).

Tillie - Stylist

Tillie  joined us as a grooming assistant in 2023, and completed her training with us to become a qualified groomer.  She has a huge passion for dogs and extensive dog handling experience - having previously worked in doggy daycare as well as fostering and rehabilitating rescue dogs ready for their new homes. Her patient and kind approach makes her a huge asset to our team!

Large double coated de-sheds are some of Tillie’s favourite grooms, but she also loves styling curly coated breeds and has a soft spot for sighthounds.

Tillie has a small mixed breed terrier called Bunty who she rescued in 2014, who you may see around the salon hanging out with Finley!

Finley - Salon Dog

Finley is owned by Sophia and is a regular face at the Hound&Co Grooming Boutique. He is a typical Beagle and can usually be found sleeping in our dryer, or trying to find his next snack!
